PIETSCH NAMED PARTNER AT tpmbLAW

(Nashville, Tenn., February 15, 2021) Taylor, Pigue, Marchetti and Blair, PLLC (tpmbLAW) has named Matt Pietsch as a Partner of the firm, according to L. Gino Marchetti, Jr., managing member.
Pietsch returns to tpmbLaw, where he practiced from 2008-2015, following five years in private practice representing individuals and businesses in complex business, real estate and immigration matters. Prior to joining tpmbLAW, he served as an Assistant State Attorney in West Palm Beach, Florida, and as an Assistant District Attorney General in Nashville, Tennessee.
In making the announcement, Marchetti said that Pietsch’s experience adds an important element to the firm. “Matt was always an outstanding attorney when he was at tpmbLAW before, and his legal work and success since then have only enhanced his experience and his knowledge,” Marchetti said. “Those strengths add to the services we provide our clients. We are pleased to welcome him back to our firm as a partner, and we look forward to his insights as we continue to expand our work for clients throughout the nation.”
Pietsch has received an AV Preeminent rating for ethical standards and legal ability from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2014. In 2018, he was awarded the Best of the Bar Award by the Nashville Business Journal for his work in the area of international law.
Pietsch is a member of Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Catholic Business League and, fluent in Spanish, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. His areas of practice include: General Civil Litigation, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law, Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage, Employment Law, Government Law, and Regulatory Law.
Pietsch is a graduate of Georgetown University, the University of Miami School of Law, the U.S. Department of Justice National Advocacy Center at the University of South Carolina, and the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial College at Stanford University.
