Antonio J. Aguilar
Associate Attorney
Antonio Aguilar joined Taylor, Pigue, Marchetti & Blair as an Associate in 2011 after holding the position of Senior Paralegal with the firm since 2004. A bona fide example of home-grown talent, Antonio, while gaining full-time, real-world experience as the tpmbLAW Senior Paralegal was attending law school part-time at the Nashville School of Law. He earned his J.D. in December 2010 and was licensed in Tennessee in 2011.
Today, Antonio’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including transactional law, corporate defense as well as representing the interests of creditors in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts. Mr. Aguilar brings seasoned experience to real estate transactions and construction transactions, particularly those presented in the AIA’s suite of contract documents.
Antonio has acquired a background rich in cultural and diverse interests. He lived abroad for many years in countries such as Spain and Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French and with that he brings unique and valuable perspective to tpmbLAW and its clients.
Antonio graduated in 2001 from Texas Christian University with a degree in International Political Science with an emphasis on Middle Eastern and Russian affairs. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2010 from the Nashville School of Law. He is active in the community with the Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) Legal Clinic, Clinica Legal of the Legal Aid Society and has been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Wills Project for Habitat for Humanity.
He has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Vanderbilt for the Fall Semester of the 2020/21 academic year.
